Standalone Xedge

Standalone Xedge combines a BAS host, Lua resources, and product-specific native bindings in one application or firmware image. Use this section for the native integration. For the IDE and application workflow, read Using Xedge.

  1. Read the standalone Xedge build guide for source files, resource generation, port setup, and required hooks.
  2. Check Standalone Xedge for host requirements and module registration.
  3. Adapt the native binding examples to your hardware and follow their callback and mutex rules.

These instructions concern the standalone native host, not the Xedge application running inside Mako. Use Mako Server for that host's build.
